GNBVT Students Attend Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Chicago
Students from the Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter attended the 2024 BPA National Leadership Conference in Chicago, IL, from May 9-14.
The national conference attracted approximately 6,500 delegates from across the country. They competed for top honors in business and information technology skills competitions, attended leadership and professional development workshops, received awards for community service activities, and elected BPA’s national student leadership team for 2024-2025. Participants networked with other BPA members and business leaders, visited well-known Chicago attractions and engaged in community service activities.
Certiport, a Pearson VUE business and the leading provider of certification exam development, delivery, and program management services, was the presenting sponsor of the 2024 National Leadership Conference. Conference attendees had the opportunity to obtain valuable industry certifications during the event.
