Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter who was born on July 6, 1907. She was the daughter of a German Jewish photographer, Frida had polio as a child. At 18 years old she suffered a tremendous bus accident and had to get 35 operations. While Frida was in recovery she had decided to teach herself how to paint. The art Frida had done was reflecting her physical ordeal.

Mexican folk art was Frida’s inspiration for her artwork style.   All of Frida’s artworks depict her wearing traditional Mexican clothing and makeup. Bold colors were used in the artwork that made it stand out.

Later on, Frida Kahlo married a man named Diego. Frida had Stayed married to Diego until the day of her death.  Frida Kolha had a museum that was once her home to keep all of her artwork in place for many others to see her wonderful work. This home wasn’t a museum until the year 1958, and Fridha was born inside of this home. After marrying Diego Rivera, her family took care of the home until they all moved away. Now no one will forget the face of the artist who was once present with her remarkable hard works of influential detailed art.
