Dear GNBVT Community,
As the school year draws to a close, I am thrilled to share in the excitement and anticipation surrounding our upcoming events. First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our seniors. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication have brought them to this glorious moment of commencement. The Graduation Ceremony will take place next Friday at 6:00 PM at the Jeff Riley Stadium here at GNBVT. We look forward to celebrating this monumental occasion with all parents and caregivers, as we take pride in the achievements of our graduates.
In addition to the graduation festivities, we have another exciting event lined up for tonight. The Class of 2027 has organized a wrestling match that promises to be an unforgettable experience. This event will feature local professional wrestlers, and I am excited (and a bit nervous) to announce that I, Principal Williams, will be making my debut wrestling appearance! Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the door. We hope to see many of you there to support this fantastic event.
Once again, congratulations to our seniors, and thank you to the entire GNBVT community for your continued support and involvement. Let’s celebrate together and create lasting memories.
Sincerely,
Principal Williams

Summertime will soon be here! Remember some summer tips including using sunscreen, water
safety & caution as well as remaining hydrated when exposed to the sun and heat. Have fun
and be safe as you take the time to unwind and enjoy your well deserved time off from school.
We look forward to hearing about all of your summer-fun activities in the fall.
Please send in any updated medical documentation that the nursing staff will need to take care
of you for the upcoming school year. We do come into school throughout the summer so we will
be able to review medical documents received prior to the start of our next school year. As
always, we are available to answer any questions that you may have, along with your parents
and guardians.

Scoliosis is a condition that causes the spine to abnormally curve sideways, into an “S” or “C”
shape. This condition affects infants, adolescents and adults of all races, classes and all
genders.
Approximately one out of every six children diagnosed with scoliosis will have a curve that
requires active treatment, sometimes involving surgery. Early diagnosis is the key to taking
important first steps to providing treatment that may prevent more serious problems.
Symptoms may include: uneven shoulders, one shoulder blade more prominent than the other,
uneven waist, one hip higher than the other, one side of rib cage sticking out more, a
prominence on one side of back when bending forward
***Have your child seen by their health care provider should any of these symptoms be present.

Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior students in the Legal and Protective Services Shop had the opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour of Logan International Airport courtesy of the Massachusetts State Police, TSA, and the Massachusetts Port Authority Fire Department. Students had a chance to see the safety and security measures that go into keeping Logan Airport safe and secure. Additionally they got an up close and personal look and demonstration of the specialized fire apparatus, as well as a perimeter tour of the tarmac.
