Charlotte Tilbury was born on February 10th, 1973. She was born in London, England. Her parents are Lance Tilbury and Patsy Dodd. She and her parents moved to Ibiza, Spain when she was 9 months old. When she was 13, she moved back to London to attend boarding school. This is when she first started experimenting with makeup. She is an entrepreneur and makeup artist.

Charlotte Tilbury began her makeup career assisting Mary Greenwall. Tilbury says that she is an incredible mentor. In October of 2012, Charlotte Tilbury created her own YouTube channel called “BERTIE IRL”. She would post advice on skincare and makeup tutorials. In 2013, Tilbury launched her brand, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, at the department store Selfridges in London. Due to her massive following, her brand was very successful. The products are now sold all over the world.

Throughout Tilbury’s career, she has been on over 180 magazine covers and 600 advertising campaigns. She has worked with many celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, and more. She collaborated with Alexander McQueen to make a 16-piece collection called “MAC for McQueen”. She is now a successful businesswoman and makeup artist who has made an impact in the world of cosmetology.
