1-hour delayed starts
Dear Students and Families,
As a reminder, GNBVT will be conducting 1-hour delayed starts on the following four Wednesdays in October for staff professional development:
Wednesday, October 7
Wednesday, October 14
Wednesday, October 21
Wednesday, October 28
Please review the arrival logistics, transportation details, and daily bell schedule below for these four days.
Transportation & Breakfast Details
Bus Transportation: All morning bus pickup times will be adjusted by exactly 1 hour later. For example, if your child is typically picked up at 6:30 AM, their pickup time will be 7:30 AM on these four Wednesdays.
Breakfast: Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria from 8:10 AM – 8:35 AM.
Morning Arrival Schedule
8:10 AM: Doors open; students may enter the building.
8:35 AM: First bell rings (10-minute warning to head to class).
8:42 AM: Warning bell (3 minutes to reach class).
8:44 AM: Official start of the school day. Students not in class by 8:44 AM will be marked tardy or absent.
Delayed Start Bell Schedule
Please note: We will be dropping the first period of the day, and all subsequent periods, including all lunch shifts, will remain unchanged. We will continue utilizing our rotating waterfall schedule so students do not miss the same class each week.
